MANILA, Philippines — Palace Press Officer Claire Castro on Friday did not confirm the alleged plan by “pro-Sara” groups to attack Malacañang on June 12, but urged the public to stay vigilant against “forces of darkness.”

Castro issued the statement following a social media post of veteran journalist and columnist Ramon Tulfo, claiming that the Philippine National Police (PNP) had received intelligence reports of a planned attack on the Palace “to be led by a religious sect.”
