At least 11 people were hospitalised after suffering breathing difficulties following an ammonia leak at an ice plant near Munambam in Ernakulam district of Kerala on Friday, the police said.The leak, which occurred in the afternoon, was brought under control promptly by fire and rescue services personnel, they said.Residents living near the plant reported breathing difficulties and were shifted to a primary health centre for treatment.Their condition improved after receiving medical attention, the police added.
