Tata Communications on Friday said a fire broke out early morning at a company operating from premises leased at Next-Gen Tower in Greater Kailash-I, New Delhi, prompting the telecom and digital infrastructure provider to activate its business continuity protocols.The company said the fire was brought under control by firefighters and that no loss of life was reported.In a regulatory filing, Tata Communications said the incident occurred at a company that has leased premises at the Next-Gen Tower facility. The company did not disclose the cause of the fire or the extent of any damage.Tata Communications said it had activated business continuity measures to ensure service continuity and minimise disruption for customers being served from the data centre facility located at the premises.The company added that it is closely monitoring the situation and will provide further updates as and when developments occur.
