TV host Lynette Bolton has shared an update on her cancer battle, revealing doctors removed a tumour from her breast during recent surgery.The wife of Sydney Swans player Jude Bolton has shared her cancer journey on social media over the past six months following her diagnosis in December last year.“Lumpectomy done,” she said.“Now we play the waiting game waiting on the official pathology results.”Ms Bolton appeared on several television series including Dancing with the Stars, WAG Nation, Oz Travel and Sydney Weekender.She started chemo six days before Christmas after she noticed a lump on her right breast.“Countless doctor appointments, mammograms, ultrasounds, biopsies, MRIs, blood tests, breast surgeon and oncology appts later (even a day surgery) AND today I kicked off the first of 12-24 weekly rounds of immunotherapy and chemo,” she said.“It’s happened fast. Really bloody fast.”Her husband shared a message after her surgery saying, “So proud of the way you’re still smiling throughout this sh---y experience. You have so much support and love behind you.”The posts were flooded with messages of love and support for the Bolton family.“Super woman. Super husband. Super family. Super people. Love to you all. You will get through it together,” sports commentator Hamish McLachlan said.“Warrior woman,” TV host Kylie Gillies wrote.Australian cricketer Cameron Merchant sent love to the family saying, “Legendary.”“That’s Lynette, always a smiler,” said journalist Jodie Speers.
