President Lee Jae Myung will visit Europe between Tuesday and June 18 to attend the Group of 7 (G7) summit in Evian, France.

Lee will first stay in Brussels for two days starting on Tuesday, according to National Security Adviser Wi Sung-lac's briefing at the presidential office on Friday. In Brussels, the president is scheduled to hold a bilateral summit with the leaders of Belgium and another with those of the European Union.

He will then make a state visit to Italy on June 12 and 13 at the invitation of Italian President Sergio Mattarella. While there, Lee is also expected to meet with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
