The House of Representatives on Thursday called on the Federal Government and relevant agencies to clear blocked waterways and drainage channels across the Federal Capital Territory, warning that persistent flooding, stagnant water, and poor sewage management pose growing environmental and public health risks to residents.
The resolution followed the adoption of a motion moved by the member representing Ohimini/Otukpo Federal Constituency of Benue State, Mrs Blessing Onuh, during plenary.
