Nominations Open for UNESCO Technology in Education Prize
The Egyptian National Commission for UNESCO has announced that nominations are now open for the 2026 UNESCO prize on the use of information and communication technologies in education.
The Commission says this year’s theme is ‘Reimagining Creativity and Critical Thinking with Artificial Intelligence’ and they are looking for innovation and projects that use AI in education to boost creativity, strengthen critical thinking, and promote the responsible use of technology. There will be two winners who will receive US$25,000 each. The deadline for the application form is April 25, , but submissions to the National Commission can be made until April 26, .
