New Delhi: Four persons were injured in an LPG cylinder blast at a house-cum-tea stall in central Delhi’s Nabi Karim on Thursday, the police said.

Police received a call about the incident at 9.29 a.m. and reached the spot to find that the blast had occurred in a small ground-floor room used to prepare and sell tea and simple meals. According to a preliminary inquiry, the fire broke out while an LPG cylinder was being replaced. The blaze erupted when the regulator was opened, injuring three customers who were having tea and a passer-by. All four injured persons are undergoing treatment at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital.
