Disability Services NY, a New Online Resource Launched; Connects New Yorkers With Disabilities to Services
Website in collaboration with NYS Department of Health, Advance Care Alliance NY, LIFEPlan CCO, and Person Centered Services CCO
A new online directory, Disability Services NY, is now live at disabilityservicesny.org, offering individuals with disabilities and their families a centralized resource to find trusted medical providers and community supports throughout New York State.
DSNY was developed through a collaboration between the New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH), and three New York State Care Coordination Organizations - ACANY, LIFEPlan CCO NY, and Person Centered Services. Combined, the three Care Coordination Organizations cover the entire state of NY and provide Care Management services to nearly 70,000 individuals. This innovative platform simplifies the search for essential services such as day programs, employment support, healthcare, and community resources. Users can search by service type or specialty, organization name, or county, with advanced options to filter for accessibility features like parking, building navigation, telehealth availability, and staff experience with developmental disabilities.
