Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan and other NDA leaders, including TDP State president Palla Srinivasa Rao, Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar and BJP State president P.V.N. Madhav, discussed the latest political developments in a meeting at the CM’s camp office on Thursday.Mr. Naidu spoke with the leaders about highlighting the achievements of the coalition government in the last two years, Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, and the ensuing elections to four Rajya Sabha seats scheduled for June 18.In the meeting that lasted for over an hour, the alliance parties decided to give special attention on the SIR process in Andhra Pradesh. It was also decided to conduct awareness sessions regarding the SIR process and a programme would be implemented to ensure MLAs possess a comprehensive understanding of the exercise.Discussions were also held regarding the formation of a committee to oversee the alliance’s governance over the next two years and initiatives to be undertaken to publicise the programmes implemented by the alliance government during the two years.Addressing the media later, Mr. Srinivasa Rao said it was decided to allot one of the four Rajya Sabha seats to the Jana Sena Party and that the remaining three would be with the TDP.To focus on the accomplishments of the government, it was resolved to organise three State-level meetings in Tirupati on June 9, Amaravati on June 12 and Visakhapatnam on June 15 on the themes welfare, governance and development.
