It’s been quite a season, filled with powerhouse performances, breakout programs, and elite competition – and somehow, it’s already drawing to a close. After weeks of highs and lows, the team that emerges victorious as our Spring 2026 national champion is…Seminole Ridge. The Hawks never faltered atop our list, slotting in at No. 1 every week, and sped through the season in dominating fashion. They finished with a 20-2 record, 10 shutouts, and a victory over a strong St. Thomas Aquinas team in the 3A Florida state championship. Congratulations to the Hawks!Elsewhere in our rankings, there isn’t much movement as states wrap up. The New York and New Jersey teams still in play have done a little bit of shifting amongst themselves, and Bayonne in New Jersey has made its way onto our watch list as we close out the season. It’s been a great, exciting season. Thanks for following along and see you again in the fall, when the other half of the country takes the field!Super 25 flag football selection processIn partnership with the NFL, the teams are determined by a USA TODAY Network selection committee of editors and writers in the participating, officially sanctioned states—Connecticut, Florida, Hawaii, Mississippi, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Washington—and the USA TODAY High School Sports staff. The process considers factors ranging from last year's results, carryover into this season, and a primary focus on 2026 records and overall performance. A team's state ranking influences its national placement, a process that allows editorial expertise and objectivity to blend with the ever-present subjectivity. Here is the final USA TODAY Sports Super 25 girls flag football rankings for the 2026 spring season:1.
