Fed up with constantly arriving home from work or the shops to find his neighbour's vehicle blocking his drive, forcing him to park on the road, he asked them to stop. Yet his complaints fell on deaf ears, and the unwanted parking persisted.‌In a Reddit post, he said: "My neighbours been parking in my driveway for months I've asked him not to a bunch of times but he always goes 'it's just for a sec' and shrugs it off.‌"Came home last Friday and yep, there he was again only things was..."‌Determined to get even, he devised a plan to give his neighbour a dose of their own medicine, showing them exactly how irritating it is when someone invades your space without permission. He added: "I was heading out of town for the weekend so I pulled in behind him, locked up, grabbed my stuff and left couple hours later I had a bunch of missed calls and a text like, 'Dude wtf?'"But I didn't answer it. Hope he had a relaxing weekend to think things through."‌While the majority of users applauded his response, others recounted comparable experiences and how they dealt with the situation. One user said: "Text back: 'Hold on, I'll just be a minute'."Another user added: "I kept telling a contractor that we lock the gates at 4pm every day, because he would still be parked in our shop lot as I was trying to lock up and go home for the night.‌"After having the same conversation three times, the next time I didn't go talk to him. Locked the gate, locked him and his van in there, and went home."I don't know exactly what happened after I left that day but he's been out at 3.30pm ever since."A third user said: "Text back: 'Can you pick me up at the airport when I return?'"‌One more user added: "There was another similar to this. She parked in his driveway on Friday before he got home from work."He parked behind and got drunk. She told him to move and he said he couldn't get behind the wheel because that would be a DUI."She called the police and he told the police the same thing and that he does not consent to someone else driving his car.Article continues below"And he planned on having a heavy drinking weekend. She asked what she was supposed.to do. He said, 'Go back in time and don't park in my spot'. The police couldn't do anything."Choose Daily Mirror as a 'Preferred Source' on Google News for quick access to the news you value.‌HousingNeighbours from hell
