The suicide of a NEET aspirant in Maharashtra's Nagpur has added to the ongoing backlash over paper leaks and exam cancellations. The student's family discovered a note she had left behind after returning to their hometown in Madhya Pradesh. In the note, the girl wrote: "I had high hopes of scoring good marks in the NEET exam, but now there is no guarantee that I will perform just as well if I have to take the paper again. I'm sorry, Mom and Dad. The family returned to their village in Mauganj district for her last rites and later found the note in one of her books.Taking to X, Rahul blamed the Centre for the aspirant's death and said it was a consequence of a corrupt and broken system being run under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. But how many more tragedies will it take for Narendra Modi ji to wake up? A government that cannot safeguard the integrity of examinations is failing its youth,” the party said in a post on X.
