The post recalled a conversation that took place two months ago, when the company's accountant unexpectedly asked to resign after 10 years on the job."With tears in his eyes, he replied, 'My son's condition is very serious. Doctors have given very little hope for his recovery. I want to spend all my time with him,'" the post read. The employer then asked whether he could continue working remotely. However, the employee explained that his son needed his full attention and that work was no longer his priority.Rather than accept the resignation, the employer assured him that his position would remain open. He also decided to continue paying the employee's salary so that the family would not have to worry about finances during the difficult period. "Don't worry about money.
