TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Southeast Asian superapp, Grab, has denied the rumors of an existing exit plan from Indonesia.In a written statement on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, Grab Indonesia CEO Neneng Gundai said, "Indonesia is an integral ecosystem for Grab." According to Neneng, Grab honors the Indonesian government's policies and mandates. The ride-hailing giant is also committed to heeding the national agenda to enhance an inclusive and sustainable people-oriented digital economy.Neneng stated that after more than 10 years of operating in Indonesia, Grab is committed to continued growth and playing an active role in supporting people's livelihoods.The Grab CEO said the company hasbecome part of the daily lives of millions of Indonesians for a decade.
