Apple TV has released the first full trailer for Season 3 of Silo, offering a deeper look at the dystopian drama’s next chapter while confirming a major shift in the series’ storytelling approach. The upcoming season will split its narrative between Juliette Nichols’ present-day struggle for survival and a new storyline set before the apocalypse that forced humanity underground. The trailer reveals that Juliette, played by Rebecca Ferguson, has survived the fiery ordeal that concluded Season 2. However, her survival appears to have come at a cost, with the engineer-turned-rebel suffering significant memory loss. As she attempts to piece together her identity, the footage suggests she may be manipulated by forces seeking to control the silo’s future.A major focus of Season 3 will be the long-awaited exploration of the world before the silos existed. New cast members Jessica Henwick and Ashley Zukerman play journalist Helen Drew and Congressman Daniel Keene, whose investigation into a growing conspiracy sets in motion events that eventually reshape civilisation. The new episodes also appear set to raise the stakes considerably. Alongside Juliette’s personal struggle, the silo faces fresh dangers, including the possible deployment of a deadly safeguard system designed to wipe out its entire population.Created by Graham Yost and based on Hugh Howey’s bestselling novel trilogy, Silo has become one of Apple TV’s most acclaimed original series since its debut in 2023. The first two seasons adapted the events of Howey’s opening novel, while the upcoming season is expected to draw heavily from Shift, the second book in the trilogy.Apple previously renewed Silo for both a third and fourth season, with the fourth serving as the show’s conclusion. Season 3 premieres July 3 on Apple TV. Published - June 04, 2026 11:16 am IST
