A man who wants to be admitted as an advocate has suffered another courtroom defeat after the Gauteng High Court refused him leave to appeal against a ruling that rejected his attempt to revive the matter.

In the latest matter, Hitjevi Tjiroze sought permission to appeal a decision handed down in April this year that dismissed his application to rescind an earlier judgment refusing him admission as an advocate.

The ruling stated that his application was “little more than an attempt to repackage an earlier failed attempt to appeal the judgment refusing him admission” as an advocate.

The judges found that his latest arguments largely repeated issues that had already been addressed.
