Imphal: Security forces have arrested five militants belonging to different proscribed outfits and recovered arms in separate operations in Manipur, police said on Thursday.An official said that while a militant was arrested from Sawombung Khunjao in Imphal East district on Monday, four others were apprehended from near Khangtung village in Chandel district on Tuesday.They have been identified as Mayanglambam Gandhi Singh (24), Langpoklakpam Sushil Singh (25), Laitonjam Kanheiya Singh (26), and Kangjam Naresh Meitei (20), the official said.Also Read: West Bengal hands over 32 acres to BSF for Bangladesh border fencingSecurity forces recovered arms and explosives from a hut during an operation at Irilbung area in Imphal East district on Wednesday.
