Police are appealing for sightings of a man who lives aboard a boat in Matauwhi Bay, and is believed to have left it in his dinghy.
Benjamin Barrett, 58, was last seen in the bay on 26 May, at around 11.30pm.
Despite numerous attempts to contact him, Police and Benjamin's family have not heard from him and are concerned for his wellbeing.
He lived aboard his boat 'Reremoana', and the dinghy was described as white with a rounded smooth front and fibreglass exterior.
It was about 3m long, with a wooden frame and seats.
