The Super Eagles were held to a 2–2 draw by Poland in an international friendly on Wednesday, in a match that featured late drama at both ends.

Terem Moffi gave Nigeria national football team the lead in the 23rd minute after finishing off a well-worked move to put the visitors ahead going into halftime.

Poland responded immediately before the break, with Potulski restoring parity in the 46th minute to make it 1–1 and shift momentum back to the home side.

Nigeria regained control in the second half and went ahead again in the 77th minute when Paul Onuachu calmly converted from the penalty spot to make it 2–1.
