Kuwaiti officials announced that at least one person was killed and 63 others were injured following a drone attack by the Islamic Republic on Kuwait International Airport.
Saoud Abdulaziz Atwan, the spokesperson for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, stated on Wednesday, June 3, that "several enemy drones" targeted the passenger terminal building of Kuwait International Airport, resulting in severe damage to the structure and injuries to some individuals present at the scene.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense also announced that during Wednesday's attacks, its armed forces detected and intercepted 30 ballistic missiles and drones during the "Iranian aggression."
Atwan said: "Since early this morning, the armed forces detected and countered 13 hostile ballistic missiles in Kuwaiti airspace. These missiles were intercepted over several residential areas, resulting in debris from some of them falling. Furthermore, the armed forces detected and destroyed 17 hostile drones. This heinous Iranian aggression targeted vital and civilian facilities."
According to Kuwaiti authorities, one person lost their life in these attacks, and dozens of others were wounded.
