Netflix has greenlit the adult animated comedy series “Dealies,” Variety has learned exclusively.
The official logline for the show states, “A savant salesman. A gentle gladiator. A quiet virtuoso. A summoner of the divine. And the poor soul who hired them. All part of the staff at Dealies, a big box store. They are masters of the delicate alchemy of trade. Prophets of enterprise. And occasionally they do some actual work.”
The series hails from Joe Bennett and Ted Travelstead, who serve as writers, executive producers, and showrunners on “Dealies.” Lisa Mierke is also an executive producer along with Alex Plapinger and James Merrill, Sean Buckelew, and Benjy Brooke of Green Street Pictures. Green Street also serves as the studio on the series.
Bennett is the co-creator of the Adult Swim animated series “Common Side Effects,” which is produced in part by both Green Street and Mike Judge & Greg Daniels’ Bandera Entertainment. The show aired its first season in 2025 with a second on the way. Bennett is also the co-creator of the critically-acclaimed HBO Max animated series “Scavengers Reign,” which aired in 2023 and was another Green Street production. His other credits include “Cake” at FXX.
