This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Tribeca Festival, a celebration of cinema and the arts co-founded by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal, and Craig Hatkoff to help boost the economy of lower Manhattan in the wake of the 9/11 attacks.
Running June 3-14 in New York City, the fest has expanded from its humble origins to include the world premieres of films like “The Avengers” and TV series such as “The Handmaid’s Tale,” along with live podcast tapings, anniversary screenings, musical performances and industry talks.
The 2026 fest boasts a number of exciting films from Oscar-winning filmmakers to first-time directors that feature star Aubrey Plaza, Oscar Isaac, Will Ferrell, and Alicia Vikander, among many others. Here are eight films premiering at Tribeca to keep on your radar.
