A giant python strayed into the Tribal Welfare Girls’ Hostel in Sattupalli town of Khammam district on Wednesday, creating panic among students.According to sources, a few students were present in the hostel building when the incident occurred. Most of the students were away at their homes due to summer holidays. Upon spotting the massive python in a room on the premises of the hostel building, the frightened students ran helter-skelter.Alerted by the staff, a retired employee of the Forest Department rushed to the hostel and rescued the python, sources added.The python was released into the wild a short while later.
