The new sports channels include FIFA Plus Women and its Spanish-language counterpart, FIFA Plus Español, dedicated to women's football. Customers can also now access the Sports Illustrated channel for league updates and Stingray Hooked, a channel dedicated to fishing. These new channels are part of the over 500 free live channels available on The Roku Channel, which are ad-supported. This expansion follows Roku's reported 'outstanding' first quarter, with platform revenue increasing by 28 per cent year-on-year, driven by advertising and subscriptions.
