APAC data center operator BDx Data Centers has announced a spate of power agreements across Indonesia with electrical utility PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN).
CGK3A data center – BDx
Combined, BDx secured 1.2GW of power from the utility, the single largest power commitment secured by any data center operator in Indonesia.
The agreements include a 788MVA deal for grid power to support operations at BDx’s flagship 500MW CGK4 AI Campus in Jatiluhur, West Java, and the successful energization of its CGK3A data center in Cilandak, South Jakarta, which enabled BDx to expand its power capacity to 60MVA. The final deal saw the company secure up to 385MVA of power at its CGK5 in Suryacipta, West Java.
“Reliable and scalable power is foundational to Indonesia’s AI and digital infrastructure development. PLN’s professionalism and execution have been critical to expanding our capacity across Jakarta and West Java. This collaboration supports the build‑out of resilient, AI‑ready infrastructure that can meet long‑term demand from enterprise, hyperscale, and sovereign workloads,” said Agus Hartono Wijaya, CEO of BDx Indonesia.
