As Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams continues his drive to establish himself as one of the NFL’s elite players, he has added another “it” factor honor to his resume, officially chosen by EA Sports to appear on the cover of Madden NFL 27, the popular video game that has existed since the late 1980s.

Last season, he threw for 3,942 yards with 27 touchdown passes while propelling Chicago to an NFC North championship and the organization’s first playoff victory in 15 seasons.Williams was given the nickname “Iceman” last season for his performances in the clutch, helping the Bears to seven victories in which they trailed with less than five minutes to play. His jaw-dropping 2025 highlight reel included:
