Former Sokoto State governor and Senator representing Sokoto South Senatorial District, Aminu Tambuwal, has condemned the recent bandit attacks on Dangulbi community in Tureta Local Government Area of Sokoto State.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, Tambuwal said he was deeply saddened by the attack, which claimed no fewer than 17 innocent lives, destroyed property, and displaced several families.

“I am deeply saddened and heartbroken by the recent bandit attacks on the Dangulbi community in Tureta Local Government Area of Sokoto State, which claimed innocent lives, destroyed property, and displaced families,” Tambuwal said.
