An Indian citizen was killed in an attack on the airport in Kuwait on Wednesday, the Indian embassy in the West Asian country said.Iranian drones and missiles attacked the airport in Kuwait city on Wednesday, damaging several facilities and forcing operations to be suspended. The attack took place despite a ceasefire between the United States and Iran that began on April 8.The Indian embassy said that it was in contact with the family of the person who had died in the attack. It also said that it was coordinating with the Kuwaiti authorities to provide assistance to the family and those injured in the incident.Kuwait’s health ministry said that 63 persons were injured in the attack on the airport.
