The 36-year-old actor was convicted for attempted murder, rape, burglary, and domestic violence offences and was sentenced on Tuesday, June 2, with 32 years to life behind bars.The makeup artist, who has previously worked in Babylon, Mean Girls, and Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire, had a restraining order on Pasqual because the relationship had reportedly become abusive.ABC reported that Shehorn shared her testimony in court of the terrifying ordeal and recounted locking herself in a bathroom trying to escape. "I locked the door, and he just started punching holes in that door and broke that open," she told the court."I just ran into the bathroom because I thought there’s another lock on that door," she recalled, in court with the scars on her neck from the stab wounds visible.A GoFundMe was set up for Shehorn to help with medical bills, and detailed that she required breathing tubes and feeding tubes while she recovered in the hospital.District Attorney Nathan Hochman said in court: "Today’s 32 years to life sentence holds Nick Pasqual accountable for the horrific crimes he committed against someone who once loved and trusted him."He was found guilty of multiple felonies, including attempted murder and rape, spanning from January 2024 to May 23, 2024, when Mr. Pasqual broke into his estranged girlfriend’s home and stabbed her over 20 times. Allie Shehorn miraculously survived and courageously stood before her abuser in court to testify about the brutality she endured. Her trial testimony was crucial in securing a guilty verdict so Mr. Pasqual could no longer be free to hurt anyone else.
