Since the 2026 World Cup kits were released, fans have been picking favorites and filling their wardrobes with the best designs. The expanded field is presenting more options than ever before and one newcomer has an away kit that’s already proven to be an unexpected hit.Curaçao, the Caribbean island nation of 155,000 people currently ranked No. 82 in the world by FIFA, has been winning new fans first as an underdog participant, and now as a well-dressed underdog participant. The team’s pastel yellow away kit, made by Adidas, “celebrates the capital city Willemstad and the colorful buildings that reside in its Punda and Otrobanda districts” with pink, turquoise and orange stripes. It’s a simple, retro design that lets its unique color combination shine.Curaçao’s 2026 World Cup away shirt. No other Adidas World Cup jersey appears to be in such limited supply on the site. Of course, that scarcity could largely be down to the company not expecting a Curaçao top to be so popular and stocking it in shorter supply than the tops for larger nations.Regardless, Adidas confirmed to The Athletic that it does plan to restock Curaçao’s away shirt sometime this summer.
