Mom and her boys
This past weekend, I found myself sitting on the lounge floor surrounded by toy cars, tiny socks and the usual chaos that comes with having a seven-year-old and a two-year-old boy.
My eldest was busy creating an elaborate race track that somehow stretched across the entire room, while his little brother happily crashed every car he could find into the furniture. I sat there joining in, making engine noises and pretending to be fully invested in which plastic vehicle was winning the race.
And then a strange thought crossed my mind. Who am I? Not in a dramatic, life-crisis sort of way.
