That’s why I’ve been standing so close this whole time.” Goldstein’s cheeky response certainly didn’t help the situation, because it prompted Guthrie to swiftly call out Lopez. It happens all the time. Doesn’t make it true.”Goldstein and Lopez at the 83rd Annual Golden Globes in January.Christopher Polk/2026GG via Getty ImagesNoticing that the “Hustlers” star was getting pretty heated, Guthrie decided to deflect by throwing Lopez a compliment.“That’s what happens when you’re like, a hot eligible single person,” Guthrie said, getting Lopez to laugh.“Ok, so, you’re not dating?” Guthrie tried one last time.“Not dating,” Lopez confirmed.“Correct,” Goldstein said.Perhaps the reason why Lopez got miffed was because just last week, the “Monster-in-Law” star also confirmed to Jimmy Kimmel that she was single — and really enjoying it.“I should have done it sooner!” Lopez told Kimmel. “I’ve been doing it all wrong … trust me.”When Kimmel asked Lopez — who has a reputation for being a serial monogamist — if she’d consider being the next “Bachelorette,” she emphatically said, “No!” “Are you crazy?” Lopez said. “I’m not doing anything to ruin how I feel right now. It’s fantastic. I love it.” When Kimmel mentioned it might be difficult for her to meet someone considering her fame, Lopez waved it off. “I’ll meet somebody somewhere one day, if they’re good enough, I don’t know,” she said.
