Bengaluru-based proptech start-up Propsoch has secured $2 million in a seed funding round to accelerate its growth. The round was led by early-stage venture capital firm Athera Venture Partners, alongside participation from Sparrow Capital and the Vakil Group.The funding will be utlised to strengthen its core research and advisory capabilities, expand its internal teams across various business functions, and support its strategic expansion into new regional markets.This seed round follows earlier fundraising where Propsoch had raised a total of $600,000. Its prior capital injections included a pre-seed round backed by the family office arms of both the Godrej Group and the Vakil Group.Prominent angel investors also backed the company in its early stages, including Mohit Malhotra, the former Managing Director and CEO of Godrej Properties, and Bhaskar Bhat, the former Managing Director of Titan Company.Commenting on the milestone, Ashish Acharya, Founder and CEO of Propsoch, noted that buying a home is easily the largest financial decision an Indian family makes.The company has advised over 1,500 families in Bengaluru and plans to expand its footprint into Mumbai and scale its capabilities to serve over 10,000 homebuyers this year.As per market intelligence platform Tracxn, Propsoch posted a revenue of ₹1.89 crore and a loss of ₹18.7 lakh.Published on June 3, 2026
