At the SNEC 2026 trade show, Elecnova introduced its new 500 kW / 1,044 kWh all-in-one containerized ESS, featuring a modular four-cluster architecture and static transfer switch for critical backup applications.
Built on LFP cells with an 8,000 cycle life, the IP55-rated, liquid-cooled system offers standard certified hardware alongside customizable integration and OEM services.
China-based Elecnova has presented this week at the SNEC 2026 trade show in Shanghai a new containerized fully integrated, all in-one energy storage System (ESS) is a fully integrated delivering a 500 kW output and 1,044 kWh of total capacity.
The system features a modular design utilizing four parallel-connected clusters. Each individual cluster contains five 52.2 kW battery packs totaling 261 kWh and a 125 kW power conversion system (PCS). Conceived for critical backup power and microgrid applications, the container includes an integrated Static Transfer Switch (STS) that ensures a seamless on/off-grid transition in under 20 milliseconds.
“To ensure strict regulatory compliance and safety, the core hardware is a standardized, fully certified product,” the company’s sales director, Nick Jiang, told pv magazine. “However, our integration strategies are entirely customized case-by-case to fit unique project requirements. We also offer full OEM services. While project-specific builds are managed from our main factory in China, we maintain two units in our European warehouse for immediate dispatch and accelerated project timelines.”
