DENVER — Essilor Stellest lenses slowed myopia progression by more than 2 D and reduced axial length growth by nearly 1 mm over 7 years of wear, according to data shown at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology meeting. This is the only spectacle lens currently authorized in the U.S. for the slowing of pediatric myopia.
Essilor Stellest lenses slowed myopia by 2.3 diopters over 7 years—the longest evidence for FDA-authorized pediatric myopia control. Long-term sustained efficacy validates noninvasive lens management for routine practice, supporting wider clinical adoption.
