Good Morning Britain accidentally aired an expletive during Tuesday's live broadcast20:15, 02 Jun 2026Good Morning Britain has apologised after an expletive was accidentally aired.Hosts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls returned to the ITV programme on Tuesday morning (June 2) to deliver the day's biggest headlines from across the UK and around the world.Later in the show, Susanna and Ed interviewed singer and actress Delta Goodrem, just weeks after her breathtaking performance at Eurovision. The former Neighbours star represented her home nation of Australia at the singing competition, coming in fourth place with her power ballad Eclipse. As the hosts asked Delta about her experience in Vienna, a number of eagle-eyed viewers noticed an expletive being shown live on screen.During the interview, footage of Delta's recent performance at Mighty Hoopla was played. At the bottom of the clip, someone in the audience was holding a large fan with the c-word clearly written across it.Viewers were quick to share their surprise, with one person writing on X (formerly Twitter): "Oops, should have looked at that footage before airing it."Another added: "That's not very nice to put that up when Delta is on... tut tut," while a third said: "I'm surprised it wasn't mentioned."A TikTok user similarly said: "Oh wow someone should have taken a closer look at the footage. Someone's gonna be in trouble at GMB."Someone else commented: "C-bomb bit strong for a Tuesday morning," with another viewer similarly sharing: "Well, someone's getting fired at Good Morning Britain, because I don't think they realised that they broadcast this. Someone is in so much trouble."While there was no mention of the expletive during the live show, the clip has since been edited out of Delta's interview on streaming service ITVX.A GMB spokesperson told the Mirror: "We'd like to apologise to any viewers offended by the accidental appearance of the expletive which was featured in concert footage. As soon as the error was discovered it was corrected and didn't appear in the +1 and ITVX versions."Elsewhere during the interview, Delta was put on the spot over her possible participation in this year's Strictly Come Dancing.Responding to recent rumours live on air, Delta said: "Anytime I've ever been in the UK and I can immerse into [Strictly], I love music with all my heart. As I said last year before Eurovision, I'm always open. I love the variety of the arts... I'm always open!"Article continues belowShe added: "I'd have to work really hard because I'm a piano girl at the end of the day.""I'm not confirmed," Delta continued, before joking that she'd come to the Good Morning Britain stars for advice if she were to step into the ballroom.Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 6am
