Details have been revealed showing how former Scottish National party chief Peter Murrell embezzled £400,000 from party funds.
Mr Murrell – the estranged husband of Nicola Sturgeon – was brought into Edinburgh’s High Court in handcuffs.
The court heard he had used his party charge card to make purchases worth tens of thousands of pounds on Amazon – as well as buying a motorhome which cost almost £125,000 – and was driven only four miles.
