President Bola Tinubu, on Tuesday, returned to Abuja after an extended stay in Lagos, where he participated in the APC nationwide primaries, observed the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations and held a series of political and official engagements.

The Airbus A330 conveying Tinubu touched down at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at exactly 5:17 p.m., a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, revealed Tuesday evening.

Onanuga said, “Tinubu was received by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike; Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila; National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu; Inspector-General of Police, Tunji Disu; and other senior government officials.”

He noted that the holiday period was marked by a full schedule of political consultations, national events and diplomatic engagements.
