France has secured billions of dollars in new data center, cloud, and AI investments.
At the Choose France Summit this week, France’s President Emmanuel Macron announced a number of data center-related investment plans for France.

This year’s Choose France event featured 71 announcements representing €93 billion ($108 billion) in investment. Tens of billions of that figure were related to digital infrastructure.
Investment giant Brookfield plans to increase its investments in AI-related infrastructure in France to €30 billion ($34bn), up from the €20bn ($23.2bn) announced at the AI Summit in February 2025. The company is developing two campuses – one in the E-Valley in Cambrai and a new AI site in Escaudain, in the Hauts-de-France region – that will be built and operated by Data4.
