HSBC Bank (Taiwan) Ltd and HSBC Securities (Taiwan) Corp Ltd cohosted the HSBC Taiwan Conference 2026 in Taipei on Monday and Tuesday.The event brought together more than 30 Taiwan-listed companies for investors’ meetings, and has attracted about 550 institutional investors and corporate clients from around the world, including from Taiwan, for in-depth discussions on the latest developments and direction of Taiwan’s capital market.The conference featured experts and industry leaders discussing the innovation in agentic artificial intelligence (AI) technology and how it could unlock potential for Taiwan’s industrial and financial development.

This year’s conference, titled “Dawn of Agentic AI,” welcomed HSBC group and regional leaders, including HSBC group customer and culture director Ian Stuart and HSBC cochief executive officer for Asia and the Middle East Surendra Rosha, who met with customers and offered their congratulations on the success of the event.Rosha said in his remarks: “HSBC has been committed to investing in Taiwan for more than 40 years.
