Girl band Jamali is reintroducing themselves to the South African music landscape through a new EP.

South African girl band Jamali is gearing up to drop new music, after their last official release 13 years ago.

Jamali shared the news at an intimate reintroduction of Jamali to the South African music landscape through an exclusive EP listening party, in collaboration with LeLive Africa.

The experience marked their return after disbanding in 2019. Over the last few years, the band, which consists of Jacqui Carpede, Mariechan Luiters and Liesl Penniken, has been performing together.

Taking to social media, the “Coca-Cola Popstars” runner-ups reflected on the listening session and revealed that new music is on the way this June.
