Trinasolar has joined the Future Energy Storage and System Integration Alliance (FESSIA) as an inaugural member. The alliance was officially launched on 19 May 2026 at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore as a partner event to Ecosperity Week 2026, Temasek’s flagship sustainability platform.
FESSIA is a Singapore-headquartered industry alliance dedicated to shaping the policy and market frameworks needed to accelerate energy storage and system integration across the ASEAN region, the launch bringing together the region’s senior stakeholders, including policymakers, regulators, utilities, investors and industry leaders.
Trina Executive President Helena Li delivered opening remarks at the launch, alongside inaugural member representatives and FESSIA Founder and CEO Liming Qiao.
“Asia is at the centre of the global energy storage story, and the urgency is real. Surging power demand, rapid digitalisation and data centre growth mean BESS deployment can no longer wait, but technology alone is not enough. We need the right policy frameworks, clear remuneration pathways and a shared regional agenda. As a company that both manufactures and deploys BESS at scale across the ASEAN region, Trinasolar is delighted to be an inaugural member of FESSIA and is committed to working with policymakers and industry partners to scale storage across the region.”
