Marking the 12th anniversary of the formation of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan and others on Tusday extended their greetings to the people of Telangana, highlighting the spirit of Telugu unity, regional development, and the shared aspirations of both Telugu-speaking States.In a post on X, Mr. Naidu said though Andhra Pradesh and Telangana had been were formed as separate States, the Telugu people would always remain one community, bound by common history, culture, and language. He expressed hope that both States would compete positively in the field of development and emerge as growth engines of the country.Mr. Naidu envisioned Hyderabad and Amaravati evolving into world-class cities, and stressed that the benefits of economic progress should reach every Telugu family. He also called for both States to work together towards the national goal of Viksit Bharat 2047, asserting that Andhra Pradesh and Telangana had a crucial role to play in shaping India’s future and showcasing Telugu excellence on the global stage.Mr. Pawan Kalyan, in his message on X, described Telangana as a State born out of the aspirations of millions and the sacrifices made by the youth. Congratulating the people on completion of 12 years of statehood, he paid tributes to those who laid down their lives for the Telangana movement.Mr. Pawan Kalyan noted that his Jana Sena Party drew inspiration from the fighting spirit and democratic traditions of Telangana. He praised the State’s commitment to social justice, youth empowerment, and individual freedom, stating that these values resonate strongly within JSP’s ideology. Madhav extended warm greetings to the people of Telangana, and expressed hope that both the States would emerge as key drivers of India’s development journey. In a message on X, Mr. Madhav said, “As India moves rapidly towards the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the two Telugu-speaking States should compete positively in attracting investments, strengthening infrastructure, promoting technology, accelerating industrial growth, and generating employment opportunities.”“Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have the potential to become major contributors to the country’s economic progress,” Mr. Madhav said, and expressed confidence that Amaravati and Hyderabad would evolve into world-class cities, showcasing the talent, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit of Telugu people on the global stage.He also emphasised the shared cultural heritage of the Telugu community, stating that the prosperity of both States would further enhance the prestige and influence of the Telugu people.
