Two minor boys were reportedly rescued from human trafficking during a special drive organised by District Child Protection Officer (DCPO) in Nellore on Tuesday morning. A team of Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) found them on platform number 3 of Nellore railway station, while checking the general and sleeper coaches of train no. 18189, the Tatanagar to Ernakulam Express.According to the details provided by DCPO B. Suresh, one boy is a resident of Jhapani village in Lakhisarai district in Bihar, while the other is from Tola Burampada village in West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand. They were allegedly travelling from West Bengal to Tirupur in Tamil Nadu. After receiving information that they were travelling for labour work, the team rescued them and detrained them.The two boys were initially handed over to Railway Protection Force (RPF), which later forwarded them to Child Welfare Committee (CWC) for further care and protection. B. Kishore, Project Coordinator at Society for Integrated Rural Development (SFIRD), and B.
