June 2 (UPI) -- Jacob Fatu officially acknowledged World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns as the Tribal Chief on WWE Raw.
Fatu and Reigns kicked off the show on Monday following their violent and hard-hitting Tribal Combat match that took place at WWE's Clash in Italy event.
Reigns was able to defeat his cousin Fatu, forcing the Samoan Werewolf to recognize Reigns as the Tribal Chief. The Tribal Chief is the ruler of the pair's storied wrestling family who operate as The Bloodline on WWE programming.
"I've been taking L's my whole life, it ain't nothing new to me. Taking L's my whole life but I'm standing right here," Fatu said to Roman, who was joined by Bloodline members Jimmy and Jey Uso.
Fatu went on to say that he wanted his children to see him be a man by keeping his word, even after a loss.
