Andreeva cried after that match because of the loss and the situation.“I would like to congratulate Marta and her entire team for this great victory today, as well as for your run on clay,” Andreeva said then. "You have won two tournaments in a row. You play really well. Congratulations again on the win today."Speaking on TNT, former world No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki said the Russian players are afraid to speak out against the war because they may have family at home who would face retribution.“It’s a really tough situation for the players,” she said.
