A Chinese fighter jet eyed by Egypt and Algeria, Africa's top-ranked militaries according to Global Firepower, has scored another high-profile victory after Chinese state media reported that Pakistan Air Force-operated J-10C fighters achieved a 9-0 score against Qatar's Eurofighter Typhoons during air combat exercises.

According to Chinese and Pakistani media reports, Pakistan Air Force-operated J-10C fighters achieved a 9-0 score against Qatar Emiri Air Force Eurofighters during the Zilzal-II air exercises held in Qatar in January 2024.

The reported result adds to the aircraft's growing reputation following claims that Pakistani J-10Cs performed strongly against Indian Air Force aircraft during clashes in May 2025.

Those engagements marked the fighter's first known high-intensity combat test and brought renewed international attention to China's most advanced fourth-generation combat aircraft.
