June 2 (UPI) -- The Karlovy Vary Film Festival has announced the lineup and jury for its 60th edition.

This year's festival will take place July 3 to 11 in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, and feature 12 films in the Crystal Globe Competition.

Contenders include Black Money for White Nights, "a tragicomic portrait of a generation forced to reassess their values in life," from The Father directors Kristina Grozeva and Petar Valchanov, and 3 nedelje posle (3 Weeks After), a drama from Miroslav Terzić about high school students discussing a friend's suicide.

Also screening are Cherni pari za beli noshti (Black Money for White), a film by Kristina Grozeva and Petar Valchanov about a Bulgarian couple whose dream trip to Russia is upended by the country's invasion of Ukraine, and Chica Checa, a drama from Šimon Holý about a widow trying to fulfill her mother's last wish.

Cinco años, cuatro meses (Five Years, Four Months) by Esteban Hoyos García and Juan Miguel Gelacio Ramírez, Detrás de la Lluvia (Behind the Rain) from Valeria Sarmiento, Gæsten (The Guest) by Mads Mengel, A Happy Family by Jan-Eric Mack, Hijamat from Nader Saeivar, The Lion at My Back by Tonia Mishiali, Pipes from Karim Kassem, Prameň (Only Beautiful Things to Look At) by Ivan Ostrochovský and Thit-thee Khu (Fruit Gathering) from Aung Phyoe complete the full lineup.
