An Abu Dhabi-based Nepali resident, Tayeb Khan, became the first winner of the UAE Lottery's Dh30 million midweek draw.
Mr Khan discovered his win via email, having missed the live Wednesday broadcast on 27 May.
He is only the second grand prize winner since the national lottery launched in December 2024, following Anilkumar Bolla's record Dh100m win.
The lottery now holds twice-weekly draws after reducing its top prize from Dh100m and switching from fortnightly to weekly draws.
